Set up your first savings goal in under 2 minutes. Here is exactly what to do:

Add a savings goal
Give your goal a name (e.g. “Emergency Fund” or “Vacation to Italy”), set your target amount, enter how much you have already saved, and optionally pick a target date. Hit Add Goal.

Add multiple goals if you have them
Saving for a vacation AND an emergency fund AND a down payment at the same time? Add all of them. The tracker handles multiple goals independently with separate progress bars for each.

Log a deposit each month
At the end of each month, select the goal, enter how much you deposited, pick the month, and hit Log Deposit. Your progress bar updates instantly.

Export monthly for safekeeping
Click Export My Data to download a backup. Import it on any device or browser to restore your goals and deposit history instantly.

Total Saved
The combined amount you have saved across all your goals right now.
Total Goal Amount
The combined target across all active goals. This is your total finish line.
Active Goals
How many goals still have money left to save. Goals you have completed are shown with a ✅.
Still Needed
The total amount left to save across all goals. Your remaining distance to the finish line.
Each goal card shows a green progress bar that fills as you log deposits. When it hits 100% a ✅ appears automatically — that goal is complete. The Deposit History table shows every deposit across all goals so you can see your full saving history at a glance.

- Automate your deposits — set up an automatic transfer on payday so the money moves before you can spend it.
- Name your goals specifically — “Trip to Paris in October” is more motivating than “Vacation.” Specific goals are easier to stick to.
- Set a target date — it lets you work backwards and figure out exactly how much you need to save each month.
- Log every deposit, even small ones — $50 logged feels like real progress. Small wins compound.
- Put your savings in a high-yield account — your money earns interest while you save. Even a small rate difference adds up over time.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many savings goals can I add?
There is no limit. Add as many goals as you like — emergency fund, vacation, down payment, new car, wedding, anything. Each goal tracks independently.
What if I already have some money saved?
When adding a goal, enter your current savings in the “Already Saved” field. The progress bar will start from where you actually are, not from zero.
Can I log a withdrawal or setback?
The tracker is built for deposits. If you withdrew money from a goal, just log a negative month as a note and manually edit the goal’s current balance by deleting it and re-adding it with the updated amount.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything is stored only in your browser. Your savings data never touches any server or third party. Only you can see it.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, fully mobile-friendly. Remember that your browser on your phone stores data separately from your computer browser — use Export/Import to sync between devices.
What happens when I complete a goal?
When your saved amount reaches the target, the goal is marked with a ✅ and disappears from the deposit dropdown so you do not accidentally log to a completed goal. It stays visible in your goals list as a record of your achievement.
